Assassinator Clacker

Registered US Pat. 5355612

Every spinnerbait angler knows how effective it is to bump your spinnerbait off sticks, logs and other cover to get that erratic, blade-stopping action. Now you can have the same fish attracting action in open water.

The patented wire frame of the Pro Assassinator Clacker spinnerbait allows the twin willowleaf blades to spin independently but occasionally collide with each other. The clacking noise and erratic flutter of the flashing blades, unique among all first-generation, swivel-mounted spinnerbaits, triggers strikes even in open water.

These precision-crafted spinnerbaits offer the same top-quality finish and components that you have come to expect of all Assassinator products.

Designed by expert fresh and salt water anglers and proven on the clear rivers of the southern Ozarks, Lakes from Northern Wisconsin to lakes of the Southeast such as Guntersville to the Gulf of Mexico

Famed smallmouth guru and guide Billy Westmoreland of Celina, Tennessee tried spinnerbaits from all over the world. The only one he was willing to endorse was Assassinator. We pulled 20 baits at random from our stocks and sent them to him. One by one, he unpackaged the spinnerbaits and cast them in the emerald water of Dale Hollow Lake. Much to Westmoreland's amazement, every one of them ran true on the retrieve — something he had never experienced before.

The Assassinator difference is in the way our baits are made. While other spinnerbaits are cast with pre-formed wire frames, Assassinators frames are shaped after the lead heads are cast. Each lure is carefully fitted in a jig so that the frame is perfectly aligned every time.

It takes more time and expense to make lures this way, but our customers feel the improved performance and consistency is worth it.

Another Assassinator Advantage is our proprietary paint system. The jewelry-like finishes we achieve are as tough as they are beautiful.

Each lure is hand-painted with a special formulation that etches to the lead substrate. Each successive coat chemically bonds to form a durable, chip- and crack-resistant finish.

To test our paint, our inspectors pull lures at random and subject them to rigorous tests. If we can throw them against a brick wall, slam them on a concrete floor, and flatten them between hammer and anvil without the finish cracking or chipping, then we're satisfied that we're giving our customers the best finish available anywhere.
